Project Overview
The original bathroom showed signs of water damage and aging materials, including issues tied to the home’s original construction. After identifying a leak affecting the shared wall between the bathroom and kitchen, we determined that a full rebuild was the best path forward.
The scope expanded to include demolition of the existing bathroom, repairs to damaged framing, and updates throughout the space to improve both function and appearance.
Our Approach
We began by fully demolishing the existing shower and tub surround to expose the framing and address moisture-related damage. All compromised materials were removed, and the framing was repaired to ensure a solid, long-lasting foundation for the new build.
From there, the shower was completely rebuilt with new waterproofing, tile, and a custom glass enclosure. A pebble-style shower floor and recessed niche were added for both durability and visual interest.
The tub area was resurfaced and reworked with a new tile surround, creating a seamless transition between the shower and soaking tub.
Fixtures and Finishes
The vanity was updated with fresh paint, new countertop surfaces, and modern vessel sinks. Matte black plumbing fixtures were installed throughout, including the shower controls, tub hardware, and faucets, giving the space a cohesive, contemporary look.
